BiographySince arriving in Halifax in 1996, I have been involved in assisting families from within Canada and other parts of the world to settle in Nova Scotia. Like a lot of newly arrived immigrants during this time I worked at many varied jobs, doing what it takes to get my family established. More recently, while working and helping others to get set up, my wife and I recognized a need that government agencies did not cover and so we started our own company to offer services and personal support for newcomers. Taking the REALTOR ® course and getting my license to trade in real estate was the next natural step to enhance this process. Appearing on CBC television News at Six, having the Chronicle Herald run a feature on our settlement activities and being invited to introduce and participate in the Canadian Government Immigration Portal, released in January 2008, has recognized the ethical and community based ethos that we bring to our network of resources.
