Biography
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, I emigrated to Canada in 1989. I have lived in many different parts of Europe, North and Central America and in the Caribbean but never found a place that really felt like home until I came to Nova Scotia.
Now after living here for four years, I couldn't think of a better place anywhere in the world to live. Nova Scotia is a wonderful place to raise a family, with excellent schools and family oriented communities, and what could be better than having the Atlantic Ocean on your door step!
My background includes drafting and design in the construction industry, where I co-owned a construction/engineering company.
I have always had an interest in housing in some way and have been involved in many renovations and remodels of homes, from simple dressing-up for sale to total tear down, design and rebuild. I can see beyond the old decor and furnishings to the see the possibilities and potential a home has to offer.
Over the years I have bought and sold many homes, and with my background in design I have used many simple and cost effective ways to show a house to its best potential - resulting in fewer days on the market. I feel that in real estate some of these past experiences will allow me to be honest with my clients about their needs, and will be able to aid them in multiple parts of their transaction.
My Husband and I lived aboard and cruised on a Sailboat for 7 years and had our Son (Our Mexican Souvenir) along the way. We spent a lot of time traveling but finally have dropped anchor in a place that I am excited to call home. I know this place has so much to offer and I would love to help you find your ideal home here in beautiful Nova Scotia!
